Chiostro di Fra Nuvolo

The restoration of the 17th-century Chiostro di Fra’ Nuvolo, adjacent to the Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità and previously in a severe state of decay, involved, among others, the participation of the Iron Angels youth cooperative. It is now a space dedicated to social gathering activities for children and young people of the neighborhood, hosting workshops for children as well as theatrical and musical performances. Within the cloister there is also the Chapel of the Rosary, which, in addition to a computer lab, hosted for many years the children and instructors of the Sanitansamble Orchestra for their rehearsals.
