The project aims to introduce the children of Forcella to STEM subjects through play.
Forcella Shines - the project
The purpose of the project is to give the boys and girls of Forcella the opportunity to engage with STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in a non-traditional and non-school setting by means of play. The initiative involved approximately 100 middle school students coming from families living in economic and social fragility. The project's conclusion saw the extraordinary participation of astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti who connected from the International Space Station.
